Acoustic Doors

Acoustic doors are specially designed, engineered and manufactured to reduce the transmission of sound from one area of a building to another. Acran Sound Control’s acoustic doors achieve the tested door rating by using of a system that comprises of a door leaf, door jamb, and door seals.

Acoustic doors are often used in sound-sensitive environments, such as recording studios or theatres, to reduce the amount of sound that enters or escapes from the space. They are also used in industrial settings to prevent the transmission of noise from loud machinery or equipment to the surrounding areas.

Door configurations are custom engineered for each specific application, which can include single doors, pairs of doors, sliding doors, and multiple leaf-type door sets.
