Industrial evaporative cooling is an engineered process that uses the natural cooling effect of evaporation to reduce the temperature of air in large industrial and commercial buildings. This is achieved by passing hot, dry air over a moistened surface, which causes water to evaporate and cool the air. Evaporative cooling of large industrial and commercial spaces empowers organisations with a comfortable and productive working environment, while also reducing energy consumption and environmental impact.

Acran Sound Control’s custom engineered industrial evaporative cooling systems can be an effective and energy-efficient way to cool large spaces—particularly in dry climates where humidity is low—and have been successfully incorporated into many facilities where the use of evaporative cooling was previously thought to be unsatisfactory. Compared to traditional air conditioning systems, which rely on mechanical refrigeration, evaporative cooling systems can be less expensive to install and operate, and can consume up to 90% less energy.
